NorthropGrumman Defense Systems Sector has a need for a Manufacturing Systems Engineer / Principal Manufacturing Systems Engineer at its Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS) organization in WarnerRobins,GA. In this role you will support radar development and sustainment programs. Our ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, a drive to lead from wherever they are, collaborative people skills, and the proven ability to work within a technically diverse, fastpaced team.
This position is onsite in WarnerRobins,GA and requires daily attendance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the APN241 program at the NGC site and customer location as an individual contributor and as part of a team.

  • Perform radiofrequency (RF) troubleshooting and rootcause analysis for radar systems, including linereplaceable units (LRUs), linereplaceable modules (LRMs), and circuitcard assemblies (CCAs).

  • Work across functional areas such as systems, manufacturing, test and equipment engineering, material management, and process re-engineering.

  • Conduct antennarange testing.

  • Provide laboratory support for hardware upgrades, sustainment, and testing; maintain and upgrade legacy test stations; assist with the development of test requirements and improved testing capabilities.

  • Use MATLAB for analysis and scripting.

  • Operate MES, SAP, Gold, Teamcenter, and other browserbased applications.

  • Utilize the Microsoft Office suite.

  • Create and/or modify site documentation, technical drawings, and customer deliverables.

  • Evaluate customer warranty assets and determine failure root causes.

  • Provide MRB support, testing, troubleshooting, and product disposition decisions.

  • Apply industry standards such as IPC/JSTD, AS9100, and ISO9001.

  • Interface and communicate effectively with multiple levels of leadership, engineering, and production.

  • Travel at least 10% of the time.
    This position may be filled at either T2 or T3 (principal) level.

Basic Qualifications - Manufacturing Systems Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree+2years (or master's degree+0years) of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, or electronictest environments.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Working knowledge of SAP/ERP or a comparable system.

  • Understanding of RF theory and principles.

  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications - Principal Manufacturing Systems Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree+5years (or master's degree+3years) of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, or electronictest environments.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Understanding of RF theory and principles.

  • Working knowledge of SAP/ERP or a comparable system.

  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience.

  • Proficiency in C++, Python, and IBMDOORS.

  • Proven experience with RF testing and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with MBSE, systemslifecycle management, and signal processing.

  • Expertlevel SAP knowledge.

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
