Job description

SICAM’s Technical Sales should have a self-starter attitude and high energy to increase the visibility, growth, sales, and goals of the overall company. They should be passionate and enthusiastic about the 3D printing/Additive Manufacturing industry and convey that excitement through any communication or interactions with internal or external customers and potential leads. 

  RESPONSIBILITIES 

Responsibilities, skills, and knowledge may be representative, but not all-inclusive of those commonly associated with the position. 

  • Utilize Resources to maintain up-to-date and extensive knowledge of all SICAM services and technologies.  

  • Collaborate with team to manage and call on targeted account lists and participate in the innovation of new techniques and strategies for securing new accounts. 

  • Proactively and regularly re-connect with account contacts- track, utilize, and maintain all data in our corporate CRM database. 

  • Establish and maintain relationships throughout the companies with other engineers, purchasers, etc. through communication and rapport with contacts. 

  • Build relationships with prospects and potential customers to understand and identify how they can integrate 3D printing into their workflow or areas of business. 

  • Collaborate with all Sales & Marketing team members to prioritize prospecting efforts and accounts to target

  • Achieve monthly pipeline activity metrics (calls, emails) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs – Quotes & Orders) goals set by sales management. 

  • Overcome objections and effectively communicate value propositions, appropriate products, and service offerings. 

  • Utilize all communication methods available to achieve activity metrics. 

  • Communicate and present sales offerings to customers and their team members through various methods such as in-person, presentation, online group calls, or sending a sample. 

  • Attend events or meetings in-person or virtual sales demonstrations, trade shows, or other events.
