Position Summary

Operations Program Manager that will lead day-to-day Operations execution of activities that support Space Electronic Systems. This position reports directly to the Operations Director in Chantilly and Sterling, VA. The position will lead and coordinate cross-functional programs within the manufacturing operations department. This role requires a strong leader who can manage multiple projects, drive process improvements, and ensure that all operational goals are met efficiently and effectively. The Operations Program Manager will work closely with production, supply chain, quality assurance, and engineering teams to align activities with business objectives and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

Salary Range: $111,950 - $159,950

Duties and Responsibilities

โ€ข Program Management: Plan, execute, and oversee multiple operational programs, ensuring alignment withstrategic goals and timely delivery of objectives

โ€ข Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication and coordination between departments, includingproduction, supply chain, quality, and engineering, to ensure seamless program execution

โ€ข Performance Monitoring: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success ofprograms. Provide regular reports and updates to sr management on program status, risks, and outcomes

โ€ข Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to meetprogram objectives. Ensure that teams are properly staffed and supported to deliver results

โ€ข Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful completionof programs. Address any issues that arise during program execution

โ€ข Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels,ensuring that expectations are met and that all parties are informed of program progress

โ€ข Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, andimprove product quality. Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies as appropriate

โ€ข Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the operations department. Leadinitiatives to optimize processes and enhance operational performance

โ€ข Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects

โ€ข Excellent project management and organizational abilities

โ€ข Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)

โ€ข Familiarity with Space Flight products, ERP systems, project management software, and data analysis tools

โ€ข Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma certification, or equivalent

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54.00 - $76.00/hr.
