Your Role:
The Manager, Formulation & Manufacturing Support is a front-line operations leader responsible for driving execution excellence across formulation and manufacturing support functions within a GMP environment. This role is accountable for building structure, developing supervisors, and ensuring disciplined, right-first-time execution of manufacturing support activities, including formulation, equipment readiness, scheduling alignment, and batch record ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop manufacturing supervisors to drive accountability and execution discipline
  • Ensure schedule adherence and maintain operational efficiency
  • Own batch readiness including equipment, materials, documentation, and area setup
  • Ensure full GMP compliance including deviations, CAPAs, and documentation
  • Serve as Manufacturing interface with MSAT, Quality, Supply Chain, and clients
  • Drive continuous improvement using structured problem-solving (DMAIC, Lean)

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Directly manage two Manufacturing Supervisors and indirectly support manufacturing support personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline
  • 5+ years GMP manufacturing support experience
  • 2+ years leadership experience
  • Strong experience in GMP compliance, batch records, and deviation management

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This role is a full-time onsite position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm PST unless otherwise stated by Supervisor. The employee must also have the ability to work overtime and/or weekends when necessary.
Compensation:
We offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
The compensation range for this role is $116,800 - $146,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer opportunities for career growth and development as well as a supportive and inclusive work environment.
