Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Precast Manufacturing Quality Manager to ensure the meticulous execution of our manufacturing processes. As a key player, you will collaborate with Project Coordinators, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Management, and Leadership to maintain and enhance our commitment to delivering top-tier products to our customers.

About the Role:
  • Quality Control Program: Develop, maintain, and execute a formal written Quality Control Program, ensuring compliance with customer-approved project plans & specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Project Coordinators, Field Operations, Engineering, and Leadership to address drawing deficiencies and maintain effective communication channels.
  • Documentation: Keep meticulous records of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual quality inspection & testing activities.
  • Concrete Mix Designs: Monitor, maintain, and develop concrete mix designs to meet product specifications.
  • Certifications: Ensure the plant maintains required certifications, including NPCA, DOT, and local agencies. Also, oversee individual certifications for Quality Technicians.
  • Leadership: Provide daily leadership and supervision to Quality Technicians, ensuring the execution of quality inspections & testing in line with the Quality Control Program.
  • Continuous Improvement: Review non-conformance reports and field incident reports, leading root cause analysis and driving continuous process improvement.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure departmental compliance with all facility safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED; 2 Year/Associate Degree preferred.
  • 3 years of Manufacturing Quality Management experience.
  • Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance.
  • Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines.
  • Work experience in Concrete Manufacturing and/or concrete material testing preferred.
  • A combination of ACI, PCI, and NPCA certifications preferred.
