The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall direction, control, and management of all 
activities within the manufacturing and logistical operations of the company. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop manufacturing and operational strategic plans and generally overseeing their 
  • implementation to ensure maximum capacity utilization of the manufacturing lines towards 
  • achieving the group's strategy, growth, and profit objectives. 
  • Responsible for formulating policies, programs, and objectives affecting the schedule, 
  • quality, and cost of manufactured products. Directing and co-coordinating production 
  • according to quality and quantity specifications within cost objectives. 
  • Oversee planning and implementation of production plans including receiving sales 
  • forecasts, requisition for procurement of raw materials and manufacturing of products. 
  • Identify and adapt technological advances to meet the group's competitive objectives 
  • within the marketplace. 
  • Lead the implementation of new manufacturing initiatives, including strategic resource 
  • allocation and application of good manufacturing principles, organizational structure, 
  • leadership, sourcing and integration, production systems and techniques for improved 
  • efficiencies and adherence to best practices. 
  • Provide strong leadership to the employees in the plant, ensuring high morale, teamwork, 
  • and good employee relations, at all levels, including the shop floor. 
  • Ensure all departments within the manufacturing area are properly staffed and coordinated 
  • to perform duties effectively. 
  • Promote the development of favorable employee relations to further the organization's 
  • production of quality goods. 
  • Oversee all operations and logistics of all the plants and maintain financial discipline. 
  • Maintain a high quality of consciousness. 
  • Can meet and subsequently exceed performance targets ensuring profitability of the 
  • individual manufacturing lines. 
  • Ensure compliance to all group systems, guidelines, and policies. 
  • Supervise and provide technical guidance to all the team members. 
  • In liaison with the Human Resource Department, appraise performance of subordinates 
  • Any other duties assigned by the President or CEO. 
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in a related discipline 
  • Minimum of 10 years significant working experience which should be at a senior level 
  • within a manufacturing environment 
  •  Strong management and demonstrated leadership skills 
  • Strong creativity and innovation skills 
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Strong, results oriented, day-to-day management skill 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to maintain/increase productivity levels
