Job description

Job Title: Production Manager (CNC Manufacturing)
Location: Belgium, WI (or Anywhere in the USA)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Manager with strong CNC
manufacturing expertise. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background
(preferred but not mandatory) and proven experience in managing CNC production
operations, including costing and quotation. This role requires leadership, technical
knowledge, and the ability to optimize production efficiency while maintaining quality
standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily CNC production operations (horizontal/vertical machining & turning
centers).
Plan, schedule, and manage production to meet delivery timelines.
Prepare and review cost estimates, quotations, and pricing for machining jobs.
Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and control
costs.
Supervise and guide CNC operators, programmers, and machinists. Ensure quality standards and compliance with technical specifications.
Coordinate with design, sales, and procurement teams.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
Monitor machine utilization, productivity, and performance metrics.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred).
10 plus years of experience in CNC production/manufacturing.
Strong hands-on experience with CNC machining (milling, turning, programming
basics).
Proven experience in job costing, estimation, and pricing/quotations.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Experience with production planning and ERP systems is a plus.
