Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company's Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global's modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

Manager, Quality Management System

Summary

The Quality Management System (QMS) Manager is responsible for establishing and overseeing company-wide API Q2 compliant Quality management processes (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) supporting the Venture Global Management System (VGMS) integration and compliance, developing an internal audit plan, championing a culture of quality and performance excellence (Zero Defects).

This role reports to the Senior Director, Quality Management and partners with Quality, HSSE, the VGMS Steering Committee (Steerco), Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Projects, IT (including document and record control), Regulatory Compliance, etc. to successfully support Quality process standardization & compliance.

General Description Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy the QMS strategy focused on, but not limited to: quality management process standardization, VGMS / QMS integration and compliance, risk based internal audit planning, Quality culture, & Zero Defects
  • Oversee the implementation of all Quality processes utilizing the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) methodology
  • Develop and own core quality standards / processes, such as the Quality Manual, non-conformance reporting, etc.
  • Create a VGMS compliance matrix to identify areas of compliance risk
  • Devise a risk based yet business need flexible internal audit plan / schedule
  • Champion a Zero-Defect quality and performance culture owned by all VG employees, contractors, visitors, etc.
  • Support defining Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and tools across VG
  • Work directly with IT, including Document Control and Record Control, to streamline document management (protocol and repository) and ensure proper record retention / storage

Qualifications

Required experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (preferred)
  • 5 + years of progressive experience leading QMS / Quality assurance programs preferable within the Energy sector (ie O&G / LNG, Power generation (Steam, Gas Turbines), EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) companies
  • Lead Auditor experience and certification (ASQ, etc.)
  • Experience creating a compliance matrix / plan and audit schedule
  • Strong knowledge of API Q2, ISO 9001, regulators (FERC, PHMSA, etc.)
  • Proven success implementation a company / site QMS
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (ie Smartsheet, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC Card
  • Able to travel 25-50%
