Job description

Position:Engineering Manager III
Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a small team of mechanical engineers while actively contributing to mechanical design and manufacturing engineering efforts. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader who enjoys balancing people management with direct engineering work.

What You'll Be Doing: 

  • Lead and develop a small team of mechanical engineers supporting product design and electromechanical assembly

  • Act as a working manager, performing hands-on mechanical design and engineering

  • Drive design for manufacturability (DFM/DFA) across injection molded, sheet metal, machined, and cast components

  • Develop should-cost models and partner with supply chain and non-franchised buyers to support supplier negotiations

  • Apply industrial and manufacturing engineering principles to support in-house production line development

  • Support electromechanical integration, prototyping, and production troubleshooting

  • Ensure disciplined use of PLM systems, revision control, and engineering change management

What We Are Looking For: 

  • 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, including leadership or management responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

  • Strong hands-on mechanical design background

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers

  • Experience working with suppliers, sourcing, and cost optimization

  • Working knowledge of PLM systems, revision control, and change control processes

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$130,100.00 - $168,795.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
