What a day in the life of a Plumber at REV looks like:

  • Cutting and threading pipes using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe threading machine
  • Bend pipes to the required angle by using a pipe bending machine or by bending by hand
  • Join pipes by using screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulk joints
  • Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes
  • Fill pipe systems with water or air and read pressure gauges to check for system leaks

Required education, skills, and experience to be successful:

  • Preferred 1-2 years of plumbing experience
  • Preferred high school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and understand plumbing drawings within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements
  • Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, and screw guns
  • Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Successful completion of the drug and background screening

  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing up and down ladders and scaffolding
