Temporary Manufacturing Associate*

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

The 3M Valley plant is conveniently located just 10 miles west of Omaha, NE. As a Temporary Manufacturing Associate, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Producing quality products by following established procedures and customer requirements
  • Working as part of a team to meet production goals and support on-time delivery
  • Safely operating equipment and maintaining a clean, organized work area
  • Inspecting and packaging products to meet quality standards
  • Using basic production tools and computer systems to support daily operations

This is a temporary position with potential for up to 899 hours worked.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older upon hire to be considered for this position, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws.

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start)

Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process

Pay

The starting rate of pay for this position is $18.50/hour + $1.25/hour differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences, and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
