Job description

Our client, an Agricultural Equipment manufacturing company, is seeking a Sr. Product Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Product Engineer, you will be part of the New Product Engineering Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in design and development of structures, linkages and motion-related equipment. You will possess a strong sense of creativity and a track record of both leading and delegating NPD assignments with mechanical emphasis. This. role is a direct hire status and is in the middle of Central Wisconsin near Marshfield. Our client is not considering candidates with visa requirements and relocation assistance in some form will be provided. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is strongly preferred.
Job Title: Sr. Product Engineer
Location: Marshfield, WI
Pay: $90-$120K plus benefits
Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate project objectives to natural working groups (Manufacturing, Purchasing, Service, Marketing, Materials)
  • Use CAD to design and develop components and products while abiding by lean manufacturing, safety, engineering and drawing standards
  • Evaluate designs for performance, safety, reliability, and cost
  • Prepares engineering layouts, drawings, specifications and Bill of Materials, ensuring all parts are accurately specified for production needs
  • Establish priorities of work for self and delegate to others

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering (Agricultural/Mechanical)
  • 10+ years related experience
  • Familiarity with Epicor ERP System is preferred 
  • Experience working with SolidWorks, Creo or equivalent 3D modeling package
  • ANSYS experience is a plus
