Job description

Job Title: Electronics Engineer
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration: 2 Years (Possible Extension)
Location: Horicon, WI 53032
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST)
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and integrate vehicle electrical systems for riding lawn mowers and compact utility tractors.
  • Develop electrical system requirements (hardware and software) with cross-functional teams.
  • Design and release wiring harnesses and electrical components.
  • Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical systems.
  • Support product development, testing, validation, and production builds.
  • Collaborate with Supply Management, Quality, PV&V, Program Management, and suppliers.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, and engineering analysis.
  • Develop engineering specifications, documentation, and technical reports.
  • Manage engineering projects, risks, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and implement design improvements.

Must-Have Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of vehicle electrical system design, integration, or testing experience.
  • Experience designing/testing electrical components, wiring harnesses, and schematics.
  • Knowledge of hardware and software integration.
  • Experience managing engineering project deliverables.
  • Understanding of product development processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to support off-shift production builds as needed.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic and international).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with agricultural or off-highway vehicle development.
