Job description

Auto Auction Porter

Roadrunner Services is hiring a dependable Auto Auction Porter to support vehicle operations during auto auction sale days, primarily jump-starting vehicles by using a jump box. This indoor/outdoor position is responsible for jump-starting vehicles using portable jump boxes and ensuring inventory is ready for sale.

Responsibilities:

  • Jump-start vehicles using a portable jump box.
  • Respond quickly to vehicles needing battery assistance.
  • Help keep auction operations running smoothly and on schedule.
  • Work safely outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to walk and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Dependable, punctual, and safety focused.
  • Automotive or auto auction experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for minimum of 4 hours for duration of the auto auction sale.
  • Ability to lift hoods and operate latches
  • Ability to lift up to 50lb jump box repeatedly if mobile jump box is unavailable.

Pay Rate: $14 per hour

Wednesday 2pm until 6pm

*Arrive 15 minutes before scheduled time for check-in and security procedures
