Mandarin-Speaking Caregiver – Join the Glen Park Senior Living Team!
Glen Park Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mandarin-speaking Caregiver to assist our residents with daily living activities while creating a supportive, healthy environment where they can thrive.
Job Summary
As a Direct Care Staff member, you will assist elderly residents, convalescents, and individuals with disabilities in a care facility setting. You will provide hands-on support with daily living activities while promoting residents’ comfort, dignity, safety, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs.
  • Daily Living Support: Assist residents with eating, mobility, positioning, and other activities of daily living.
  • Meal Assistance: Prepare, serve, and assist residents with meals and snacks as needed.
  • Resident Safety: Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition, incidents, or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Activities: Participate in and support the facility’s Activities Program to promote social engagement and quality of life.
  • Communication: Communicate respectfully with residents, families, coworkers, and management regarding resident needs and care.
  • Documentation: Follow care plans and accurately document required resident care and observations.
  • Housekeeping: Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized living environment, including light housekeeping duties.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with caregivers, MedTechs, nurses, office staff, and other departments to provide quality resident care.
  • Ongoing Training: Attend required monthly and quarterly in-services and complete all required training.
  • Professionalism: Maintain confidentiality, respect residents’ privacy and dignity, and follow all company policies and procedures.

For Residents with Developmental Disabilities
  • Follow the facility’s Program Design.
  • Complete specialized training as required.
  • Support goals outlined in each resident’s Individual Program Plan (IPP).
  • Maintain accurate progress notes documenting IPP objectives and accomplishments.

Available Shifts
We are looking for someone who is willing to work weekends. AM/PM shifts.
Pay Rate: $18–$19/hour
