Compensation: $25/hr 35/hr depending on experience
Location: Phoenix, Arizona (Onsite at High-Tech Semiconductor Facility)
Reports To: Senior Project Manager / Site Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time, ONSITE (This is not a remote position)

Position Summary
Greenberry Industrial is seeking a highly organized and professional Construction Administrator / Mandarin Interpreter to support project operations at a large high-tech semiconductor construction project in Phoenix, Arizona.
This role combines construction administration, project support, document management, reporting, and bilingual interpretation services to facilitate communication between English-speaking and Mandarin-speaking personnel, subcontractors, client representatives, and project teams.
The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Mandarin, thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, and possesses strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills. This position plays a critical role in supporting field operations, quality documentation, workforce reporting, and day-to-day project administration.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Interpretation & Communication Support

  • Provide verbal and written interpretation between English-speaking and Mandarin-speaking personnel.
  • Assist project managers, construction leaders, field supervision, client representatives, and subcontractors during client meetings and daily interactions.
  • Translate correspondence, project communications, reports, safety information, procedural documents, and meeting notes as required.
  • Facilitate clear communication regarding project expectations, work activities, quality requirements, safety procedures, and administrative processes.
  • Support onboarding discussions, workforce communications, and project-related meetings involving Mandarin-speaking personnel.

Field Services & Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to project management, site leadership, and field supervision teams.
  • Maintain project records, logs, correspondence, and site documentation.
  • Coordinate and prepare reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and project communications.
  • Assist with document control, file management, distribution lists, and project tracking logs.
  • Support daily office operations and provide administrative assistance as required to maintain efficient project execution.

Timekeeping & Workforce Reporting

  • Collect, review, and reconcile employee time sheets and timekeeping records.
  • Verify labor hours, attendance records, and workforce reports for accuracy.
  • Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrections with supervisors and employees.
  • Prepare and distribute labor reports, manpower tracking reports, and workforce summaries.
  • Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate and timely submission of timekeeping documentation.
  • Maintain confidential personnel and payroll-related records.

Daily Field Reporting

  • Assist construction leadership with preparation and distribution of:
    • Daily construction reports
    • Workforce and manpower reports
    • Productivity tracking reports
    • Site activity summaries
    • Schedule updates
    • Client-requested reports
  • Compile information from field supervisors and project leaders into organized project documentation.
  • Track project metrics, action items, and ongoing field activities.

Quality Documentation Support

  • Support the Quality Control team with documentation management and recordkeeping.
  • Maintain inspection logs, turnover documentation, testing records, punch lists, and quality reports.
  • Organize quality records in accordance with company and client requirements.
  • Assist with document tracking during audits, inspections, and project turnover activities.
  • Coordinate collection and distribution of quality-related documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Coordination & Site Support

  • Assist project personnel with scheduling meetings and coordinating project communications.
  • Manage visitor logs, meeting logistics, and conference room scheduling.
  • Track project deliverables, action items, and administrative deadlines.
  • Interface with client representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
  • Support onboarding, orientation scheduling, and project access processes for employees and visitors.
  • Assist with procurement tracking, material receiving documentation, and miscellaneous project administrative activities.


Qualifications
Required

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese with the ability to interpret and translate professionally in a construction environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or project-based environments.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Phoenix, Arizona.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting large industrial, semiconductor, data center, advanced manufacturing, or high-tech construction projects.
  • Experience with timekeeping systems, payroll support, and workforce reporting.
  • Experience with document control and quality documentation systems.
  • Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Viewpoint, SharePoint, or similar project software.
  • Understanding of construction terminology, project coordination processes, and field operations.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Work is performed primarily onsite at a large-scale semiconductor construction project.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout an active construction site and office environment.
  • Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry files, documents, and office materials up to 25 pounds.
  • May be required to travel between project offices, meeting locations, and work areas onsite.
