Overview:
As the Managing Executive Director, Digital Performance, you will play a critical role in leading strategies across planning and activation that deliver on client business objectives but also push them into new territories. You'll work at the intersection of data, media and creative to drive strategic and innovative solutions to meet the forces of change in the industry for this large-scale client. This individual will be responsible for all performance media relating to client acquisition, retention, and growth. This will be achieved by refining our systematic and strategic approaches across Paid Digital, Search, Affiliate Marketing, and Social channels.
Qualifications
12+ years of media experience, preferably at an agency or consulting agency
Track record for successfully driving digital customer growth and revenue across paid media platforms for B2C and B2B brands
Demonstrated ability to develop and drive strategic media plans for large, complex organizations
Strong people leader, guiding a team through change and transformation, with an eye on talent development, capability building, and culture
Track record of building and developing high performing teams
Proven experience using data analytics to provide greater customer insight, drive innovation and improve efficiency and productivity
Demonstrated the necessary functional and technical knowledge and skills to deliver in this role
Strong project management and interpersonal skills, with ability to take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment of multiple priorities
Ability to captivate clients and affinity to lead them through transformation
Creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit
Strong media advertising and marketing technology understanding
Responsibilities
Strategic & Functional Skills
Serve as the key point of contact for the client, internal Hearts and Science teams, creative agencies, OM center and external media/data partners to drive integration, delivery and best in class performance media activation
Develop, own and expand relationships with internal and cross agency partners as well as key strategic partners (Google, Amazon, Meta etc.) to drive excellence in performance and overall program management
Operate as a performance media subject matter expert within the organization to ensure teams and processes are operating at a high standard, employing best practice, and maintaining expertise
Work closely with Strategy, Marketing Science and Analytics to ideate on innovation and capability development in the performance media space
Continually monitor the landscape for new partners and technologies that can be acquired or deployed to up level media capabilities
Advocate for data-driven decision making by leveraging multiple data sources from tech stack, external partners and internal resources to increase customer acquisition and engagement
Understand the client's marketing platform tools, capabilities, and data in order to advise on ways to better leverage them to drive ROI
Operate as a transformation agent for clients to improve their digital and performance media strategy and execution
Drive innovation in the areas of custom algorithms powered by machine learning, voice, and new technology media areas
Foster a culture of continual learning, ensuring direct team members feel strong leadership support a respective environment, challenged and on the edge of performance media practices
