Salary:
$63.90-71 Hourly
Start Date:

Contract Creative Operations & Resource Manager
Role Overview: The Contract Creative Operations & Resource Manager will establish and optimize resource allocation for our client's TV Creative & Production organization. Initially embedding within the TV Team, this role will focus heavily on supporting a cross-functional Design Development, Brand, and Interactive Design Development ecosystem. This is not just a scheduling role; it is a strategic operational function sitting at the intersection of creative execution and leadership. You will partner closely with producers and design managers to bridge the gap between talent supply (a mix of Full-Time Employees and existing contractors) and project demand. This role is instrumental in establishing a brand-new resourcing framework, ensuring data hygiene, balancing workloads, and providing high-level capacity insights to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Cross-Functional Allocation: Manage the allocation of creative resources (including interactive/brand designers, editors, animators, creative directors, and producers) across TV App Content Design initiatives.
  • Human-in-the-Loop Matching: Act as the strategic partner to design leads and producers, assessing data-driven matching recommendations while navigating competing priorities, opinions, and complex team dynamics.
  • Capacity Planning: Focus on long-term macro-capacity and team bandwidth rather than micro, project-based tasks, preparing the team for upcoming seasonal shifts and project ramps.
  • System Integration: Partner with operations leads to get all Content Design work into Wrike, managing user assignments and building out the talent database.
  • Process Documentation: Collaborate on developing, maintaining, and iterating documentation regarding resourcing processes, workflow rules, and system governance.
  • Data Maintenance: Maintain absolute data hygiene within Wrike, tracking and updating team allocation percentages and out-of-office schedules on a weekly basis to ensure the integrity of the system.
  • Leadership Dashboards: Develop, maintain, and iterate on highly visual dashboards and reports regarding team capacity levels, availability, and flow efficiency for senior leadership.
  • Workflow Optimization: Identify and implement ongoing workflow optimizations and process improvements within the creative studio environment.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in creative operations, resource management, or studio/production management within a design, marketing, or entertainment studio.
  • Team Management: Proven ability to manage resource allocation models for highly matrixed, diverse, and mixed creative disciplines.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data manipulation skills with a proven track record of translating clean backend data into visual reports and dashboards for executive review.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency with Wrike or equivalent enterprise-level project management and resource planning software, with a deep understanding of tool logic and reporting functionalities.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional relationship-building, conflict-resolution, and navigation skills to build trust across all levels of leadership.
  • Creative Process Instincts: Deep understanding of creative development processes, particularly regarding asset creation timelines, design lift, and production workflows.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry Background: Experience working within digital streaming, television, or the entertainment industry.
  • Portfolio/Work Samples: Ability to share redacted examples of resource models, dashboards, or system workflows established in prior roles.
