Job description

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Project Manager for an exciting opportunity.

Job Description and Responsibilities

The Project Manager will lead and oversee all aspects of contract performance in support of a federal government customer, ensuring successful execution of project objectives, deliverables, and operational requirements. This position serves as the primary liaison between the client, program staff, subcontractors, and corporate leadership, providing day-to-day management of project schedules, staffing, budgets, reporting, and risk mitigation activities. The selected candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor performance against contract requirements, ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations and security standards, and proactively address issues impacting cost, schedule, or quality. The Project Manager will also support strategic planning initiatives, facilitate customer communications, and drive continuous improvement efforts to ensure high-quality service delivery and mission success.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)

  • Demonstrated experience managing federal government contracts, including oversight of project schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverables.
  • Strong knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), contract compliance requirements, and government reporting processes.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate effectively with government customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare status reports, conduct meetings, and resolve project issues professionally.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring quality performance, customer satisfaction, and timely contract execution.

Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications

  • Completion of at least 24 semester hours in mathematics, engineering, and/or quantitative analysis coursework
  • Fifteen (15) years of professional experience in cost analysis
  • Five (5) years of Program Management experience within the past 10 years
  • Demonstrated familiarity with Department of Defense data sources and tools

Minimum Clearance

  • Secret

Physical Requirements

  • Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking (including stairs) throughout offices and between buildings. May require use of public transportation, personal or Government vehicle to drive to local and/or remote office locations.
