Job Summary:
US Tech Solutions is a company focused on providing technology solutions, and they are seeking a Middleware / Application Support Engineer. The role involves providing L2/L3 production support for enterprise applications, maintaining middleware platforms, and ensuring application performance and security standards are met.
Responsibilities:
• Provide L2/L3 production support for enterprise applications and integrations
• Install, configure, patch, and maintain middleware platforms and web servers
• Monitor application performance, server health, and messaging components
• Troubleshoot complex application and middleware issues and perform root cause analysis
• Deploy applications in clustered and multi-environment setups
• Support application integrations and document generation processes
• Ensure adherence to security standards and best practices
• Coordinate with development teams and external vendors for issue resolution
• Manage escalations and maintain SLA commitments
• Automate routine operational tasks and deployments where possible
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience supporting middleware platforms (JBOSS and/or Oracle WebLogic)
• Strong knowledge of application deployment (WAR/EAR) and clustered environments
• Hands-on experience providing L2/L3 production support
• Solid understanding of JVM concepts and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience with messaging systems (JMS queues and topics)
• Familiarity with performance monitoring and logging tools
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred:
• Experience with web servers such as IIS
• Exposure to document generation platforms or API integrations
