Job description

Before we work with a prospective client, we need to figure out their story. Why are they losing ground in search when they shouldn't be? What is a competitor doing that they've missed? What would actually move the metric they care most about, and what's the best way to show them?

That is this role.

You’ll be a key part of the team along with the account executive and department heads doing the investigative work on every prospect we work with, building the argument that becomes the pitch, and helping model what our work could realistically do for their business. This is work that ends up in front of executives at large, enterprise companies, which is a big part of why we win.

The other half of the job is making the whole thing run better. How can we operate more efficiently? How can we close more deals?

It takes real organization to hold this together. You’ll have several live deals moving at once, each with its own research and deadlines. You’ll work directly with our AEs, our CEO, and department heads across search, content, and paid media. This role isn't client-facing, but it sits close enough to the strategy and the decisions that it's can provide clear upward momentum for someone who wants it.

  • Investigate target accounts: where they're winning, where they're losing, and why
  • Run competitive and AI search share-of-voice analysis
  • Shape the argument, and help build the deck that carries it
  • Model traffic, revenue, and pricing scenarios
Workflow & Automation

  • Agency and B2B services experience preferred
  • Experience building an automation, tools, a processes, or sales assets
  • Working knowledge of SEO, paid media, and content marketing, and how they fit together
  • Strong analytical thinking and real curiosity about how businesses grow
Skills & Attributes
  • Curious by default. You want to know why a company is losing, why a competitor's approach is working, why a deal went the way it did.
  • Proactive with judgment. You find gaps and close them, and you know which ones to fix first.
  • Strategic and creative. Brainstorm sessions with you are insightful and productive
  • Organized. Multiple deals, competing deadlines, and systems you maintain
  • Rigorous. You check your own work
  • Self-directed. We don't track hours
