New Ventures Technology & Innovation | Strategy & Transformation Team | Strategy and Transformation Manager

The Strategy & Transformation Manager sits at the center of NVTI's strategic priorities - partnering with the Strategy & Transformation Leader and NVTI Leadership Team to shape and execute the NVTI's highest-priority programs. This role will work across a portfolio of firm-level initiatives that touch technology, alliances, start-ups, innovation ecosystem and more - turning ambiguity into clear, executable strategy leaders can act on. It's a role built for someone with organizational knowledge and a bias for action - who thrives under tight deadlines, has the ability to make connections across initiatives, bringing sharp analytical and project management discipline.

Work you'll do

  • Portfolio management: 
  • Establish programs with clear plans, owners, decision points, and operating rhythms - with execution risks and dependencies surfaced early and practical mitigation paths in motion 
  • Track progress across concurrent NVTI workstreams - priorities, dependencies, owners, and decision points - and escalate execution risks with practical mitigation options
  • Develop reusable templates, trackers, and decision-support tools that improve speed and consistency, leveraging AI and other technology systematically 
  • Cross-functional alignment: 
  • Coordinate across businesses, enabling functions, and Global to build alignment on shared priorities, translating input into clear next steps and decision pathways 
  • Build deeper knowledge of each of the projects, governance and stakeholder perspectives
  • Support defined workstreams and also independently managing selected initiatives, broadening stakeholder relationships
  • Executive engagement & events: 
  • Develop decision-ready materials (briefings, status updates, recommendations) for senior leaders and executives, synthesizing complex topics into clear narratives 
  • Orchestrate stakeholder meetings, working sessions and cross-functional engagements that are well-prepared and productive, translating into actionable next steps and greater transparency, pace, and discipline across matrixed teams

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, strategy and transformation, business operations, portfolio management, program management, or a related business-focused discipline 

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience working independently to translate strategic direction into organized execution - prioritizing competing demands, synthesizing complex business topics, preparing executive level materials, identifying execution risks, and driving workstreams through completion 
  • Prior experience working with cross-functional initiatives, particularly within a large, complex, or matrixed organization 
  • Practical understanding of GenAI tools and their application to business operations, including the ability to identify high-value use cases and translate them into scalable workflows and process improvements 

Wage Disclosure 

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $118,700 to $243,700.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
