This partnership enables Keystone to expand its client base across intermediary and institutional channels, leveraging Virtus's established relationships while maintaining its specialized investment focus.

Position Summary

Keystone National Group is seeking a senior distribution executive to serve as its Head of Distribution. This individual will join Keystone's senior executive management team and be responsible for expanding Keystone's distribution strategy across all channels, with a primary focus on private credit and alternative investment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:Distribution Strategy & Business Leadership
  • Expand a comprehensive distribution strategy for Keystone's private credit and alternative investment platform across all channels.
  • Establish priorities across wirehouses, private banks, RIAs, and institutional investors, with a focus on scalable growth.
  • Serve as the senior commercial voice for Keystone in internal strategy discussions.
Business Development & Capital Raising
  • Directly engage with clients and prospects to drive capital formation across Keystone strategies.
  • Identify new distribution opportunities, partnerships, and channel expansion initiatives.
  • Contribute to revenue growth, asset gathering, and long-term strategic partnerships.
Platform Development & Relationship Management
  • Build and deepen relationships with key platform gatekeepers, research teams, and senior decision-makers.
  • Lead product approval efforts, due diligence conversations, and platform negotiations.
  • Expand Keystone's footprint across national accounts and institutional channels.
Alternatives Market Expertise & Product Positioning
  • Act as a subject matter expert across private credit and adjacent alternative asset classes, including asset-backed lending, private markets, real assets, hedge strategies, and semi-liquid structures.
  • Translate complex strategies into clear, compelling positioning for target client segments and platforms.
  • Partner closely with investment teams to align distribution messaging with portfolio construction and performance drivers.
Virtus Partnership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work in tandem with Virtus distribution professionals to coordinate coverage, avoid channel conflict, and maximize enterprise opportunities.
  • Align with Virtus Sales, Product, Marketing, and Consultant Relations teams to drive cohesive go-to-market execution.
  • Ensure Keystone strategies are effectively integrated into broader Virtus distribution initiatives.
Ideal Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or CAIA strongly preferred.
  • 10-12+ years of experience in asset management distribution, with significant exposure to private credit and alternative investments.
  • Demonstrated track record raising capital across private wealth, intermediary, or institutional channels.
  • Deep understanding of alternative investment structures, including private credit, private markets, tender offer funds, interval funds, hedge strategies, and semi-liquid vehicles.
  • Strong relationships with platform gatekeepers, national accounts, and/or institutional allocators.
  • Proven ability to operate in a multi-affiliate or matrixed distribution model.
  • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.

The base salary range is $300,000 to $400,000.

The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position is also eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
