  • Establish and maintain strong collaboration and clear ways of working within the team and across the broader Specialty business, ensuring seamless coordination between congress, P2P, and external expert activities.

3. HCP Engagement, Congress, and P2P Oversight

  • Provide strategic direction and planning, managing the overall budget to provide the most complete congress plan for Hepatology/Immunology given the strategic imperatives of the portfolio and the capacity of the team. Make proposals and secure funding for a strategy that accounts for relevant congresses, makes trade-offs by congress tier and business priority, and becomes more efficient and effective over time.
  • Oversee P2P program strategy and execution for Hepatology/Immunology, including speaker bureau management, speaker training, program execution, sales force support, and peer-to-peer education enabled through speaker recommendations, development, and operations support. Ensure compliance to overall budget and flex throughout the year based on current priorities.

4. External Expert Strategy & Insight Generation

  • Develop and coach planning and execution of compliant external expert engagements and consulting, including advisory boards and executive interactions with commercial leadership, ensuring alignment with brand priorities and external expert needs. Hold team to a high standard and rapidly share best practices and implement new standards throughout the year.
  • Ensure the team compliantly elicits, documents, and synthesizes clinical, competitive, and strategic insights from external experts, combining them with quantitative and qualitative data to inform brand strategy, resource allocation, and tactical planning.

5. Insights, Analytics & Performance Optimization

  • Champion the use of data, analytics, customer experience insights, and external expert insights to measure performance of congress, P2P, and external expert activities; identify optimization opportunities; and drive a test-and-learn approach to innovation in HCP engagement.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for brand marketing and senior leadership, ensuring that strategic engagement activities continuously evolve to meet HCP and external expert needs.

6. Cross-Functional & Enterprise Leadership

  • Serve as the primary Hepatology/Immunology Strategic Engagement leader and point of contact for Sr. Directors, Brand Leads, Medical, Sales VP, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, and other cross-functional partners, enabling integrated, compliant engagement approaches across channels and tactics.
