Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned sports venture investor to partner with our family office, Eberg Capital, and help scale our portfolio and run day‑to‑day operations.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a partner and operational leader for Eberg Capital.
  • Represent the company’s brand and reputation internally and externally.
  • Work closely with my son Ethan and other family team members to mentor and grow the next generation of dealmakers.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage pre‑seed and seed stage investment opportunities in sports and adjacent sectors.
  • Provide strategic guidance to portfolio companies as they mature.
Qualifications
  • Based in New York City or willing to relocate.
  • Proven track record as a sports venture investor with early‑stage network.
  • Experience generating deal flow for pre‑seed and seed stage funding.
  • Strong relationships with startups, incumbents, bankers, and other venture capitalists.
  • Reputation for honesty, integrity, and skill.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and partner mindset.
