Job description

Ready to take your litigation career to the next level? Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C., a nationally recognized, fast-growing business law firm, is expanding in Texas - and we’re looking for a skilled Commercial and Securities Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team in the Lone Star State in our Dallas office.

This is a rare opportunity for an attorney who is not only a strong technical litigator but also an independent thinker, self-starter, and problem-solver. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, and is eager to contribute meaningfully from day one.

What You’ll Do
  • Work alongside some of the top commercial and securities litigators in the country on high-stakes, complex matters that shape the financial services landscape.
  • Tackle sophisticated commercial, business, and securities litigation matters.
  • Represent commercial and securities clients in state and federal court and in various arbitration forums, including AAA and FINRA.
  • Draft persuasive, high-level motions, briefs, and memoranda.
  • Collaborate with a team in a supportive, dynamic, and friendly environment.
  • Experience and/or readiness and qualifications to handle matters at the courthouse and in arbitration hearings, depositions, and other on‑your‑feet advocacy opportunities.
What We Need You to Bring
  • 3 to 7 years of relevant commercial/business litigation experience; specific experience in securities litigation and arbitration is a plus.
  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing in Texas.
  • Strong working knowledge of Texas law, federal and state rules of procedure and evidence, with at least some understanding or committed desire to learn FINRA investment industry related litigation and arbitration.
  • Sharp legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with confidence and skill.
What We Offer
  • Impactful, Meaningful Work: Handle cutting‑edge commercial securities litigation cases that make a difference.
  • A True Team Culture: Experience mentorship, collaboration, and professional growth in a firm that values its people and raises the bar on law firm culture.
  • The Best of Both Worlds: Access the strength, resources, and stability of a national firm — with the personal, tight‑knit feel of a local office.
  • Competitive Compensation & Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, vision, 401(k) with firm contribution, generous PTO, and more.
  • Work‑Life Integration: We strive to create an environment where attorneys can balance careers, work‑life, and personal well‑being.

If you are ready to elevate your career and thrive in an environment where your talent and ideas matter and make an impact, we want to hear from you!

Salary range $155,000 - $200,000 (or potentially higher depending upon qualifications and other factors). Salary range does not guarantee, obligate, or set expectations of an applicant’s salary in the event of hire. Actual compensation will depend upon several factors, including the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications and skill set.
