Job description

Direct Counsel is partnering with one of the nation’s premier technology and life sciences law firms, seeking an experienced Securities Litigation Associate for its growing practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to represent cutting-edge companies in some of the most complex, high-profile civil and regulatory matters in the market.

About the Practice

This Securities Litigation Group is recognized for its deep expertise in high-stakes disputes and government investigations. The team represents Fortune 100 companies, global technology innovators, and leading life sciences organizations in matters including:

  • Securities class actions

  • Derivative litigation

  • Merger & transaction-related disputes

  • Regulatory and enforcement proceedings

  • Internal investigations involving allegations of:

    • Accounting fraud

    • Whistleblower complaints

    • FCPA and anti-bribery violations

Associates gain hands-on experience early, working directly with top trial and investigative attorneys on matters that frequently influence national headlines and regulatory landscapes.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 4+ years of securities litigation experience

  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills

  • Experience with class actions, derivative suits, regulatory investigations, or internal corporate investigations

  • Superior academic credentials

  • Bar admission in the relevant office’s state (or eligibility to sit/waive in)

This role is best suited for attorneys who want to litigate sophisticated securities and regulatory matters while working with some of the most innovative companies in the world.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary Range: $310,000 – $445,000

  • Discretionary performance-based bonus
