Job description

Trustpoint.One is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for a long-term, open-ended contract position in St. Louis, MO. This is a great opportunity to work on an interesting, high-profile case. This position is currently performed on a hybrid basis, so candidates must be local and available to work in the St. Louis office four days every week. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for duties that include:
  • Assist in the preparation of client communications.
  • Maintain and monitor logs to track the collection and receipt of documents for use in defending national class and collective action cases.
  • The paralegal will perform batch processing of electronic files on an as needed basis in connection with document production to opposing counsel.
  • The paralegal will assist with the electronic filing of pleadings in class action cases.
  • The paralegal will prepare draft pleadings, prepare excel spreadsheets, and create PowerPoint presentations as needed.
  • The paralegal will calendar/docket events and deadlines.
  • The paralegal will also monitor, and manage the litigation hold system including preparing and sending litigation hold notices, identifying and creating lists of recipients, following up with recipients as needed, and releasing litigation holds at the conclusion of cases.
The qualified Litigation Paralegal must have a Bachelor's Degree and Paralegal Certificate in addition to 1-5 years of full-cycle personal injury litigation experience.
Pay rate: Starting at $24/hour, depending on experience, plus an additional hourly health & welfare benefit

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations

  • This is a high-volume screen-based role, requiring constant, prolonged computer usage, including but not limited to: reviewing documents, managing visual content, and attending virtual meetings
  • Visual acuity required for computer use, data analysis, and extended reading
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and document handling
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds

  • Follow all applicable information security, data privacy, and acceptable use policies as communicated by the Company
  • Promptly report any suspected security incidents, breaches, or system vulnerabilities in accordance with Company protocols
