Dental Secretary Greater Montreal Area | Laurentians | Lanaudière | Central Quebec | Mauricie | Monteregie Start date: Immediate / Full-time / Part-time, Day, evening or night shift Competitive salary + bonuses (up to $28/hour depending on experience) Willing to work in the area mentioned and ideally owns a means of transport. Ability to work in one of the following settings: CHSLD, CLSC, hospital (CH) or private setting. WHO ARE WE ? AsiccMed (Asicc Santé Mobile) is a healthcare staffing agency founded in 1992 in Quebec. We provide qualified staff on a contingency basis to dental clinics, residences, and healthcare facilities. By working with us, you are an official AsiccMed employee—no agency paperwork for you. JOB DESCRIPTION: As a contingency dental secretary, you will be assigned to partner clinics during absences, peak periods, or occasional needs. You will ensure the smooth administrative operation of the clinic and represent the first impression to patients. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Welcoming patients in person and on the phone with professionalism Manage appointment scheduling and the clinical calendar Prepare and update patient files (paper and electronic) Perform invoicing, insurance claims, and follow-ups. Coordinate communications between patients, dentists, and the clinical team Manage appointment reminders and post-treatment follow-ups Perform general administrative tasks for the office REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: DEP in dental secretarial studies or significant experience in dental administration Knowledge of dental management software (Dentitek, Abeldent, Clinibase — an asset) Proficiency in billing and insurance claims processes Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards patients Bilingualism (French/English) — often required depending on the clinic Proficiency with computer tools (Microsoft Office Suite) WHAT WE OFFER: Competitive salary: Up to $28/hour depending on experience AsiccMed is your official employer — all social security contributions are covered.
