What You'll Do
โ€ข You'll serve as an advisor and advocate for a portfolio of personal lines clients, ensuring each household receives proactive, exceptional service
โ€ข You'll manage renewals, coverage changes, and retention with confidence while leveraging your product knowledge to identify gaps, improve protection, and deliver peace of mind
โ€ข You'll leverage the tools available to you to offer options, add additional lines, and retain our existing book of business
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
โ€ข Manage a book of personal lines business with attention and care
โ€ข Proactively review renewals and negotiate with carriers to ensure competitive coverage/pricing and present options to insureds
โ€ข Analyze coverage and compare/present options to insureds
โ€ข Build long-term client relationships through consultative conversations and responsiveness
โ€ข Assist clients with new policies, changes, and claims with empathy and urgency
โ€ข Educate clients on coverage options and risk prevention strategies
โ€ข Identify opportunities for cross-sell and rounding out accounts
โ€ข Partner with team, agency leadership, and underwriters to ensure smooth execution and high client satisfaction
โ€ข Remain current on carrier appetite, market trends, and technology tools
โ€ข Work with high-net-worth clients on their growing portfolio of assets

Qualifications
What You Need
โ€ข 3+ years experience in an Independent Agency (IA channel), personal lines account management
โ€ข Deep knowledge of carriers, coverage forms, and rating practices
โ€ข Active P&C License
โ€ข Life License preferred
โ€ข Proficiency in the agency's management system, AMS360, and Microsoft Office
โ€ข Exceptional communication, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
โ€ข Ability to manage renewals and retention strategies
โ€ข A genuine care for people - you enjoy Championing Relationships and Getting It Done right
โ€ข Experience working with insureds in the State of TN
