Responsibilities
What You'll Do
โข You'll serve as an advisor and advocate for a portfolio of personal lines clients, ensuring each household receives proactive, exceptional service
โข You'll manage renewals, coverage changes, and retention with confidence while leveraging your product knowledge to identify gaps, improve protection, and deliver peace of mind
โข You'll leverage the tools available to you to offer options, add additional lines, and retain our existing book of business
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
โข Manage a book of personal lines business with attention and care
โข Proactively review renewals and negotiate with carriers to ensure competitive coverage/pricing and present options to insureds
โข Analyze coverage and compare/present options to insureds
โข Build long-term client relationships through consultative conversations and responsiveness
โข Assist clients with new policies, changes, and claims with empathy and urgency
โข Educate clients on coverage options and risk prevention strategies
โข Identify opportunities for cross-sell and rounding out accounts
โข Partner with team, agency leadership, and underwriters to ensure smooth execution and high client satisfaction
โข Remain current on carrier appetite, market trends, and technology tools
โข Work with high-net-worth clients on their growing portfolio of assets
โข Ask for Google Reviews and Life Insurance
Qualifications
What You Need
โข 3+ years experience in an Independent Agency (IA channel), personal lines account management
โข Deep knowledge of carriers, coverage forms, and rating practices
โข Active P&C License
โข Life License preferred
โข Proficiency in the agency's management system, AMS360, and Microsoft Office
โข Exceptional communication, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
โข Ability to manage renewals and retention strategies

โข Experience working with insureds in the State of TN
