Job description

Here we grow again! IntelliRad Imaging, LLC recently expanded into an additional hospital and is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Remote Diagnostic Radiologist to join our physician-owned, private practice group. Radiologist must be located in the United States or U.S. Territories. Fellowship training is preferred but not required. Expectations include interpretation of general radiology studies including MR, CT, ultrasound, radiographs, and the occasional nuclear medicine study. The majority (80%+) of the reads are x-rays and CTs.
Shift info: Part-Time Remote Weekend Shifts
  • Candidates must be able to commit to work at least 2 shifts per month
  • 9-hour afternoon shifts on weekends (1p-10p EDT or 2p-11p EDT)
  • Weekend schedule is usually made 2 to 3 months in advance
  • Paid per RVU
  • Computer workstation provided
  • 1099 contractor position

IntelliRad is very excited about our new PACS. This new artificial intelligence-supported and -driven unified PACS is slated to go live in spring 2026! This platform utilizes AI-driven voice recognition and templates to decrease physician burnout, decrease physician exhaustion, and potentially increase physician productivity.

  • We practice at 5 hospitals in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties in Florida plus one in the panhandle of Florida, all of which are affiliated with the HCA health system.
    • These 6 hospitals include 5 stroke centers and 2 trauma centers.
    • We have steadily won the contract for one additional hospital every 2 years since our founding.
  • We utilize a unified worklist with a single PACS for all cases other than mammograms.
  • We teach and manage an ACGME radiology residency program at Aventura Hospital with 24 residents (growing to 28 by 2027).
  • We internally employ all physicians and do not utilize any teleradiology companies.

Minimum Qualifications include:
  • ABMS-BC/BE in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology
  • MD or DO diploma

  • Eligibility and ability to obtain DEA license in Florida
