Locum Tenens Opportunity: Remote General Radiologist Near Gurnee, IL We are seeking a Board-Certified General Radiologist for a remote locum tenens position near Gurnee, IL. This role offers the flexibility of working from home while providing essential radiology services to a diverse patient population. Position Overview: Position Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: General Radiology (Telehealth) Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Shift Type: Days, Remote Shift Hours: 12 PM - 8 PM, Monday to Friday Responsibilities: General Radiology Services: Handle routine and emergency department (ED) imaging needs, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. Conduct and interpret imaging studies accurately and efficiently. Telehealth Operations: Utilize remote systems to review and report imaging studies.

Maintain clear and timely communication with the medical team to ensure quality patient care. System Management: Work with EMR: Meditech Utilize PACS: Intelerad Operate Voice Recognition Software: Fluency Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all radiology reports are completed within required timeframes. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements: Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Radiology. Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Licensure: Must hold an active, unrestricted Illinois medical license and DEA.

Verbal confirmation of license and DEA status is required at the time of name clearance. Professional Record: Must have a clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions or malpractice claims. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using Meditech EMR, Intelerad PACS, and Fluency voice recognition software.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting with reliable internet access. Additional Skills: Strong diagnostic skills in interpreting a variety of imaging modalities. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with the healthcare team.
