Job description

This role is based at ATP Headquarters in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Working from one of ATP's larger training centers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina, or Utah is a possible option with occasional travel to ATP Headquarters.

The Role

ATP is seeking a Sales Development Manager to improve sales processes and drive enrollment growth in the Airline Career Pilot Program. You will lead initiatives to optimize lead conversion, strengthen sales systems, and elevate team performance across the Admissions, Marketing, and Training Center network. You will analyze data, implement scalable best practices, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure ATP continues to deliver an exceptional experience to prospective students while achieving enrollment goals. To establish a strong foundation, you should expect to initially spend about 6 months performing outbound sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase lead-to-enrollment conversion across all channels
  • Identify process bottlenecks and implement systems and tools to streamline the admissions and sales workflow
  • Partner with Marketing to align campaigns with sales goals and track performance metrics
  • Coach and support Admissions Representatives and Training Center teams to improve prospect engagement, communication, and follow-up effectiveness
  • Create standardized reporting to measure key performance indicators (KPIs), including conversion rates, response times, and program sales performance
  • Conduct regular reviews of lead management, CRM utilization, and call center effectiveness
  • Collaborate with Training Support and Finance teams to ensure seamless transitions from prospective student to enrolled student
  • Lead training sessions, workshops, and performance reviews to strengthen sales skills and consistency across locations
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic growth initiatives
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability focused on student success and company growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, or process improvement (education or flight school experience preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building abilities
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Demonstrated success implementing systems or processes that improved efficiency or conversion performance
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, reporting tools, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
