Job Responsibilities:
Develops and manages new and existing programs by recommending, monitoring or adjusting appropriate plant operating procedures to meet program requirements within the manufacturing facility. Coordinates program vendor activities including design, tooling and parts suppliers to ensure cost, deliver and quality targets are met according to customer requirements and schedules. Prepares quotations for piece cost and tooling. Provides technical launch support at customer assembly locations.
What we are looking for:
- High School diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred, or technically related experience
- Experience and understanding of automotive production processes and techniques as required to provide necessary guidance preferred
- Experience in a Quality Environment- ISO/AQAP/MIL, or similar
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred with proven history of results preferred
Preferred qualifications:
- Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Operational knowledge of ISO/TS16949 Core Tools knowledge preferred
- Operate standard office equipment preferred
