Job description

Salary:

Iron Will Ventures is seeking an experiencedProgram Manager to lead the execution of critical Department of Defense programs supporting advanced technology development, prototyping, integration, and transition efforts. This position will be located in Crane, Indiana, and will serve as the primary interface between government customers, industry partners, and internal technical teams.


The Program Manager will be responsible for overall program performance, including cost, schedule, technical execution, risk management, and customer engagement. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment supporting emerging national security capabilities and rapid acquisition initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex government programs from award through completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders, including program offices, technical leads, and contracting personnel.
  • Manage program budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Coordinate activities across prime and subcontractor teams to achieve program objectives.
  • Facilitate technical and programmatic reviews, status meetings, and customer briefings.
  • Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), risk registers, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Support proposal development, capture activities, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, reporting obligations, and company processes.
  • Foster strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for future support.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Program Management, or a related field. Will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience managing Department of Defense programs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in technical or defense-related environments.
  • Strong understanding of program lifecycle management, including cost, schedule, and risk management.
  • Experience supporting DoD acquisition, research and development, prototyping, or sustainment efforts.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with government customers, industry partners, and senior executives.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane or other Navy organizations.
  • Familiarity with Other Transaction Authority (OTA), rapid acquisition, and prototyping efforts.
  • Experience managing contracts supporting advanced weapons systems, electronics, EW, autonomy, sensors, or emerging technologies.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and subcontractors.
