The program will immerse the intern into a broad range of responsibilities, allowing you to execute projects within your area of professional interests.
Interested applicants must be available during the 12-week program (May 17th - Aug. 6th, 2027). This is a full-time internship (40-hours per week) based at our headquarters in Carmel, IN.
As a Software Delivery Management Intern, you will support the Software Product Management and Product Owner teams in driving the successful, on-time delivery of software products. You'll gain hands-on exposure to Agile delivery practices, backlog management, cross-functional coordination, delivery reporting, and the use of AI-enabled tools to improve team productivity, documentation, and decision-making. This role is ideal for a student interested in product management, project/program management, technology delivery, or AI-enabled ways of working. You will receive direct mentorship from experienced Product Managers and Product Owners while helping build reporting, documentation, dashboards, and process tools that keep multiple product teams aligned, informed, and on schedule.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with Software Product Managers and Product Owners to maintain and groom product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies, including capturing notes, action items, and follow-ups.

  • Track software delivery milestones, dependencies, and release schedules across multiple product teams, flagging risks to timelines.

  • Help build and maintain status reports, dashboards, and delivery metrics (e.g., velocity, cycle time, defect trends) for stakeholders and leadership.

  • Use AI-enabled tools, where appropriate, to support documentation, meeting summaries, backlog organization, research, reporting insights, and process improvement opportunities.

  • Coordinate with engineering, QA, and UX partners to help ensure alignment on priorities, scope, and delivery timelines.

  • Assist with documentation of delivery processes, playbooks, and best practices to support continuous improvement across the team.

  • Conduct research on Agile/delivery management tools, industry trends, and process improvements, and present findings to the team.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA)

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program as a rising Junior or Senior, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Project/Program Management, or related field.

  • Strong interest in software product management, Agile delivery, technology delivery, AI-enabled productivity, or project/program management.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset; comfortable working with data and reporting tools.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
