After a year of major momentum, advisor growth, and firmwide expansion, we are opening a new Birmingham office and looking for the right leader to build it with us. This is not just another advisor role. This is an opportunity for a licensed financial professional who is ready to lead a market, mentor advisors, recruit talent, produce business, and help shape the future of a growing firm.


For the advisor who has been promised leadership but never truly handed the opportunity, this is it. The time is now.


We are looking for a Managing Director who can lead from the front. This person will be responsible for developing and mentoring financial advisors, recruiting new talent into the Birmingham market, driving production, and helping establish TruOak as a trusted financial services firm in the region. You will have the support, resources, leadership, and infrastructure of a growing organization while having the opportunity to put your own stamp on a new office.


Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary of $75,000 to $150,000, based on experience

Compensation:

$75,000 - $150,000 Plus Commissions


Responsibilities:
  • Lead and grow the Birmingham office for TruOak Financial Partners
  • Mentor, coach, and develop financial advisors
  • Recruit licensed and aspiring advisors into the firm
  • Continue producing and serving clients as a licensed financial advisor
  • Help drive market growth, advisor development, and firm goals
  • Build a strong office culture rooted in accountability, support, and purpose
  • Partner with firm leadership on strategy, training, and expansion initiatives

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, insurance, wealth management, or advisor leadership
  • Active Life and Health license is required
  • SIE and Series 7 required
  • Series 66, 65, or 63 preferred
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, recruit, and produce
  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Someone who wants more than a title and is ready to build something meaningful
