Job description

Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Service Financial Advisor to their Independent Registered Investment Team at Advus Financial Partners in their Winter Park, FL office.

Job Summary:

Advus Financial Partners is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Service Financial Advisor with a strong foundation in financial services and a passion for delivering high-quality financial and investment advice.This role is ideal for an experienced advisor who excels in relationship management, financial planning, and strategy implementation-but prefers to focus on servicing and advising rather than business development. The Service Financial Advisor will work directly with clients to ensure effective execution of financial strategies, ongoing portfolio management, and a best-in-class client experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through proactive communication and service. Lead client meetings and reviews, including financial plan updates and investment consultations.
  • Financial Planning & Advisory:
    • Develop, analyze, and implement customized financial plans aligned with client goals and objectives.
  • Advisor Support:
    • Partner with lead advisors to prepare and refine comprehensive financial plans for high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Execution & Operations:
    • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, portfolio management, etc.) to ensure accurate, timely implementation of financial strategies.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work cross-functionally with advisors, compliance, and operations teams to deliver seamless client service and consistent execution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of investment products and financial planning principles.
  • Proven ability to independently manage client relationships.
  • Experience working within a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in wealth management or investment advisory.
  • CFP designation (obtained or in progress), preferred.
  • Experience with financial planning and portfolio platforms (e.g., MoneyGuidePro, Black Diamond, Morningstar, Bloomberg), preferred.
