Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the daily airport operation runs in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner, as well as overseeing and coordinating team activities to create a safe, reliable, efficient, and effective operation.

Job Duties:
* Develop, maintain, and oversee shift schedules, workstation assignments, training, and overtime management while ensuring optimal staffing levels.
* Communicate effectively with the Duty Manager regarding operational challenges, resource needs, and service performance.
* Conduct daily shift briefings and debriefings to align goals, address issues, and reinforce safety and service standards.
* Oversee and support employee administration tasks including attendance, payroll accuracy, and performance documentation.
* Investigate service failures, safety concerns, or operational shortfalls; report findings and recommend corrective actions to the Duty Manager.
* Perform regular safety and compliance audits to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Monitor and ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, and client requirements.
* Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring, and positive leadership.
* Collaborate with other departments to improve communication, streamline operations, and enhance customer satisfaction while developing healthy work relationships bonding with customer airlines.
* Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
* Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Company's Fair and Just Culture Policy.
* Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capabilities expected for this position.
Qualifications:
* High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Possess a valid Driving License.
* Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
Preferred Qualification:
* Two years of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.
Physical requirements:
* Must be able to frequently lift, move up to 70 lbs; Constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.
Working conditions:
* Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
* Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
