We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport’s growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open.

Why Work for the USTA?

We are a passionate team of staff and volunteers focused on growing the sport of tennis and making it accessible to all. We are committed to removing barriers and creating opportunities for ALL to participate. Don’t know tennis? Don't worry, you can still find yourself in the game.

The Role

This role will serve as a post-sales liaison for the USTA Connect program, ensuring that technology partners are seamlessly onboarded, receive ongoing support and derive maximum value from the ecosystem. As the USTA expands its digital footprint, this role is critical to bridge the gap between contractual promises, technical implementation, and long-term data health. By managing the end-to-end partner lifecycle, this individual ensures that both the USTA and its technology partners achieve their strategic innovation goals through consistent execution and operational excellence.

1. Partner Onboarding & Lifecycle Management

  • End-to-End Coordination: Own the transition from "signed contract" to "active partner," managing milestones across Security, Data, and IT.
  • Project Leadership: Coordinate the completion of API integrations, defining scopes of work and ensuring clear "finish line" deployment.
  • Pipeline Accountability: Maintain a centralized partnership dashboard to track onboarding velocity and proactively resolve bottlenecks.

2. Technical Health & Data Integrity

  • Engineering Liaison: Partner with internal Engineering and Data teams to validate integration functionality and ensure consistent data flow.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quarterly "Technical Health Checks" on partner platforms to verify that USTA integrations meet performance standards.
  • Data Advocacy: Work with Data and BI&A teams to ensure partner data is correctly ingested and leveraged (i.e. Tableau Dashboards) to drive USTA-wide innovation and access.

3. Partner Value Management & Optimization

  • Benefit Fulfillment: Audit and execute all contractual partner benefits, including marketing placements and "Recommended Vendor" status.
  • Success Desk: Serve as the first point of contact for existing partners, providing expert troubleshooting and guidance.
  • Insight Reporting: Collaborate with BI&A to ensure performance reports and analytics are delivered to partners accurately and on schedule.

4. USTA Ventures & Strategic Sourcing

  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies by tracking key newsletters, research reports, and startup databases.
  • Deal Sourcing Support: Conduct initial research and "deep dives" into companies under consideration for investment or strategic partnership.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and organize the USTA Ventures tracking spreadsheets, ensuring all outreach, meeting notes, and due diligence statuses are up to date.

Who You Are
  • 3-5 years of experience in Partner or Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Project Management, or Sports-Tech.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, business, IT, engineering, or related field is required
  • Comfortable discussing APIs and data-sharing; ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working with customers to provide support and foster success in their use of a product or service.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, CRM, and/or Project Management tools.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage external founders and internal executive stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to synthesize information from various sources (newsletters, pitch decks, financial reports) into actionable briefs.
  • Tennis and/or Sports Tech experience is a plus, but not required.
  • This position is designated as "hybrid/flex" in Orlando and may allow for both remote and on-site work.  Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid/flex requirements as updated from time to time.  Please consult HR for the most current policy

What We Offer
At the USTA, we know people are our most important asset. For this reason, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to meet the needs of a diverse workforce!
  • Comprehensive benefits designed to meet your unique needs: Medical, dental, vision, access to doctors virtually, a flexible spending account to manage your health and dependent care expenses, and life and disability insurance are a small part of our offerings.
  • Time to recharge and energize: Generous paid time off policy - including vacation, sick, personal, and paid holidays, parental leave, and two paid recesses.
  • Plan for your future financially and professionally:  401(k) with employer matching (up to 6.5%), promotional and growth opportunities, Learning and Development programs to learn on the job, and up to $7,000 for tuition reimbursement, per academic year.

The expected range for the base salary for this position is $68,000 - $72,000. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify.  The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
