Job Role- Oracle Xstore Developer

Location: St. Louis, MO (Onsite from Day 1)

Job Description: -

  • 7+ years of total experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle Retail POS, Xstore development.
  • Extensive experience in designing and developing applications using JAVA/J2EE.
  • Must have a deep understanding of Object-oriented programming and SOLID Principles.
  • Strong systems analysis, design, and architecture fundamentals, Unit Testing, and other SDLC activities.
  • Experience developing and designing API integrations using SOAP/RESTful/JSON.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication skills; should be able to communicate effectively with business and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience/knowledge is required.
  • Experience in using and managing code repositories and build tools such as SVN, GIT, MAVEN, GRADLE, JENKINS, etc

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform root cause analysis and solution against established SLAs
  • Able to troubleshoot and do log analysis
  • Code and debug within defined timelines with expected coding standards
  • Perform development and testing for major and minor enhancements
  • Good analytical and communication skills

Experience:

  • 8 to 10 years of total experience
  • 8 years of experience in Oracle Retail POS, Oracle Xstore POS, or GK POS L3 Support is a MUST
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience of Java Spring Boot and SQL
  • XML, JSON, REST and SOAP APIs
  • Basics of Spring
  • Experience with SVN, GIT
  • Tools: Bugzilla, Eclipse, Jenkins, GitLab
