The University of Utah Campus Store is seeking a Order Fulfillment Manager who is responsible for leading the daily operations of the University Campus Store's order fulfillment department. This position provides operational leadership for the ecommerce fulfillment team, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time while maintaining high standards of customer service and inventory accuracy. The manager oversees staffing, performance management, workflow optimization, and continuous process improvement while utilizing Oracle NetSuite and other operational systems to support fulfillment activities. Working collaboratively with purchasing, merchandising, warehouse, customer service, retail operations, and technology teams, this position ensures fulfillment operations effectively support the Campus Store's ecommerce business and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities
Lead the daily operations of the Campus Store's order fulfillment department.
Hire, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate full-time, part-time, temporary, and student employees.
Develop staffing plans and allocate labor resources to support seasonal demand, promotions, athletic events, and peak business periods.
Establish performance expectations, monitor productivity and quality metrics, and provide coaching and accountability to team members.
Lead process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives that increase operational efficiency, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Evaluate fulfillment workflows and implement operational improvements to support business growth and scalability.
Oversee order processing using Oracle NetSuite and associated shipping and inventory management systems.
Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately while meeting established service-level expectations.
Monitor key performance indicators, including fulfillment speed, shipping costs, labor productivity, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with purchasing, merchandising, warehouse operations, retail management, customer service, and technology teams to ensure accurate inventory availability and efficient order processing.
Oversee inventory accuracy within the fulfillment operation and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Manage shipping carrier relationships, shipping supplies, and fulfillment equipment.
Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures for order fulfillment operations.
Ensure compliance with University policies, shipping regulations, and workplace safety standards.
Assist with inventory counts and other Campus Store operational initiatives as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
Senior Supervisor, Logistics Management: Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 4 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience.
Preferences
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Retail Management, Operations Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of progressively responsible experience in ecommerce fulfillment, warehouse operations, retail operations, logistics, or distribution.
Experience supervising and developing employees in a fast-paced operational environment.
Experience using Oracle NetSuite or another enterprise ERP system for order management, inventory control, and fulfillment operations.
Demonstrated ability to analyze operational metrics and implement process improvements.
Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse and fulfillment environment.
