Job description

Job Summary
Will play a pivotal role in driving and overseeing the successful execution of key projects and initiatives aligned with our organization's Strategic Priorities and Strategic Competencies. Will provide strategic direction, coordinate cross-functional efforts, manage resources, and ensure the effective implementation of the organization's long-term vision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Strategic Planning and Execution:
โ€ข Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for the organization, aligning initiatives with the overarching Strategic Plan. Will direct the system-wide programming that supports the implementation of the Strategic Plan and the cultural integration of the values and priorities.
โ€ข Drive the execution of key projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in line with strategic objectives.
โ€ข Identify and prioritize initiatives based on their strategic significance and resource availability.
โ€ข Ensure the regular assessment of programs and activities in support of the priorities of the Strategic Plan.
Resource Allocation and Budgeting:
โ€ข Assess project requirements and evaluate alternative approaches, considering budget constraints and institutional capacity.
โ€ข Prepare and manage budgets for strategic initiatives, optimizing the allocation of resources for maximum impact.
โ€ข Secure the services of consultants or service vendors when necessary to support project objectives.
Cross-functional Coordination:
โ€ข Lead and coordinate internal committees, work teams, and taskforces related to the implementation of the Strategic Plan.
โ€ข Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of initiatives into the organization's operations.
Leadership and Team Development:
โ€ข Build and lead a high-performing team responsible for executing strategic initiatives.
โ€ข Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement among team members.
Continuous Improvement:
โ€ข Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within the strategic planning and execution framework.
Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
โ€ข Master's degree in Educational Leadership or related field required
โ€ข 5 years experience in strategic planning, project management, and supervisory role required
โ€ข Higher education experience required; Community College experience preferred

Working Conditions
General office. May frequently be required to walk; stand; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer, photocopier, file cabinets, and calculator. Manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, ability to reach and bend, and use 2-step stool while safely lifting and lowering boxes. Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
