Manager, Team Recruiting – Talent Acquisition Department

 

Join Heartland Dental as a Manager, Team Recruiting and play a key role in leading a high-performing recruiting team while shaping hiring strategy across the organization.

In this role, you will lead and support a team of up to 10 recruiters, partnering closely with the Senior Manager of Team Recruiting and collaborating with an established leadership team. Your focus will be on elevating service levels, improving hiring outcomes, and contributing to the broader talent acquisition strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set clear recruiting goals and lead the strategy, programs, and stakeholder partnerships needed to achieve them
  • Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement, strengthening recruiters as trusted business partners
  • Align recruiting strategy to organizational priorities through workforce planning to support production, growth, and operational goals
  • Partner closely with operational leaders to assess talent needs, improve hiring processes, and drive strong recruiter–hiring manager collaboration
  • Leverage data and reporting to guide decisions, track performance, and evaluate success against key metrics
  • Monitor individual and team performance, identifying opportunities to improve outcomes and efficiency
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), and lead targeted training and development efforts
  • Coach and mentor team members with real-time guidance to support performance and growth
  • Define and optimize recruiting processes to ensure consistency, compliance, scalability, and efficiency in support of organizational goals
  • Maintain a consistent, proactive communication cadence across recruiting and operational partners
  • Lead and contribute to projects that enhance the recruiting experience for candidates and hiring leaders
  • Plan, prioritize, and communicate team responsibilities to ensure alignment and execution
  • Support additional initiatives and projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, or 2+ years of leadership experience within Heartland Dental
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive strong business partnerships
  • Working knowledge of recruiting practices, staffing programs, and employment standards
  • Experience leading remote or geographically dispersed teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly (approximately 30%), including overnight travel

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with iCIMS or similar applicant tracking systems
  • Prior people leadership experience
