Job description

Description:

Director of Recruiting

Broad Management Group

Broad Management Group is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Director of Recruiting to lead and oversee all recruiting and talent acquisition efforts across our multi-state property management portfolio.

This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing recruiting strategies, building talent pipelines, improving hiring processes, reducing time-to-fill, strengthening employer branding, and ensuring the company attracts and retains top talent. The Director of Recruiting will partner closely with executive leadership, operations, and hiring managers to support the company's growth and staffing objectives.

We are seeking a proactive leader who understands that successful recruiting is not simply posting jobs and reviewing resumes—it is building relationships, developing sourcing strategies, creating talent pipelines, and driving measurable hiring results.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead all recruiting efforts for property-level, maintenance, corporate, and leadership positions
  • Develop and execute strategic recruiting plans aligned with company growth objectives
  • Create and maintain talent pipelines for difficult-to-fill and high-priority positions
  • Oversee sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, social media, industry networks, trade schools, and other recruiting channels
  • Develop innovative approaches to attract passive candidates
  • Monitor recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, turnover, and candidate quality
  • Partner with executive leadership to forecast hiring needs and workforce planning initiatives
  • Evaluate recruiting vendors, agencies, advertising platforms, and recruiting technology to maximize ROI
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes
  • Build and strengthen Broad Management's employer brand and employment marketing strategy

Operational Partnership & Workforce Planning

  • Collaborate with Operations, HR, Payroll, and leadership teams to ensure staffing needs are met
  • Support succession planning and internal talent development initiatives
  • Assist with retention strategies by identifying hiring trends and turnover drivers

Recruiting Operations & Reporting

  • Oversee ATS and recruiting systems administration
  • Ensure accurate reporting and tracking of recruiting activity
  • Identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and workflow efficiencies

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive recruiting and talent acquisition experience
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience preferred
  • Proven success leading high-volume and multi-site recruiting efforts
  • Strong sourcing and passive candidate recruitment experience
  • Experience developing recruiting strategies and talent pipelines
  • Demonstrated success managing recruiting metrics and improving hiring outcomes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing recruiting budgets, agencies, and vendor relationships
  • ATS/HRIS experience required (Paylocity preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

What We're Looking For

  • A strategic talent acquisition leader, not just a recruiter
  • Someone who can build systems, processes, and scalable recruiting programs
  • Strong business acumen and partnership mindset
  • Data-driven decision maker
  • Passion for identifying and attracting top talent
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership
  • Creative thinker who is constantly looking for new ways to find talent

Impact of the Role

The Director of Recruiting will play a critical role in shaping the future of Broad Management by ensuring the organization attracts, hires, and retains the talent necessary to support continued growth and operational excellence across the portfolio.
