Job Description TITLE: Product Development Engineer Comp: From $90,000-$120,000/yr Location: New Albany, IN Our client is seeking immediate assistance in identifying a candidate for a Product Development Engineer direct hire position in New Albany, IN Responsibilities: Play a key role in the design, development, and validation of products. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-including purchasing, quality, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, process engineering, electroplating, suppliers, and product management-to drive product development and deliver effective solutions. Engage in hands-on problem solving throughout the development process and respond to quality concerns as they arise.

Ensure compliance with corporate engineering standards related to documentation, file management, part modeling, and simulation. Effectively manage multiple projects using strong organizational and time management skills. Handle various administrative tasks as required.

This role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to identify and resolve technical challenges. Required Skills & Qualifications: 2+ years of Exp in Design/Development of Complex assemblies 3D modeling software is required - SolidWorks is preferred. 2 and 3 D.

Data Analysis, reviewing test data, and Inspection Skills (Minitab or JMP) Plastic Injection Molding and/or Progressive Die Stamping Required TERMS: This is a direct hire position that pays from $90,000-$120,000/yr.
