Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our RN Clinical Coordinator Resource Float Pool, you will actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit, serving as a vital clinical resource and professional role model.
Every day you will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, ensure high-quality care delivery, act as a crucial link between physicians and the patient care team, authorize work procedures, assign duties, manage as shift charge, and actively take patient assignments based on unit needs and acuity, all while promoting patient well-being and adhering to professional standards.
To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with exceptional clinical skills, strong leadership potential, superior communication and collaboration abilities, and an unwavering commitment to ethical practice, quality patient care, and a supportive team environment.

  • Assesses patientโ€™s physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data. Evaluates patientโ€™s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.
  • Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provides leadership, support, and coordination of unitโ€™s daily operations during designated shift.
  • Assists in directing, organizing, and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met.
  • Ensures appropriateness of admissions/cases to the unit/department and that appropriate staff skill mix exists to provide safe patient care.
  • Liaison to the multidisciplinary patient care team.

Enterprise Pool 1:

  • Base rate + $3.00/Hr. Pool Differential + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials
  • 1 facility โ€“ preferred location/closest to home
Job Requirements

Required

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or by endorsement
  • One (1) year of clinical RN experience
  • RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable

The Common Spirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool consists of both clinical and allied roles that flex or float throughout the Common Spirit Mountain Region system. Associates within the Enterprise Pool will have the opportunity to float to multiple units within one facility, a geographic group of facilities, or to all of our facilities. This pool will provide additional resources to support and supplement the workload and staffing needs across the system.
