Job Description

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) at Tidelands Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our growing community-based practice serving the Murrells Inlet region. This role is an employed position within MUSC Health and practices within the Tidelands Health system to serve Georgetown, Horry, and Williamsburg Counties, the second fastest growing region in the country. 

About Tidelands Health: 

Tidelands Health operates Georgetown Memorial Hospital (131 beds) in Georgetown, SC and Waccamaw Community Hospital (121 beds) in Murrells Inlet, SC, is a community-based, not-for-profit, health system that reinvests millions of dollars each year into our facilities and technology. We are our region’s MUSC Health affiliate. Tidelands Health is dedicated to keeping the communities we serve healthy and active, inside, and outside of the hospital. With four hospitals, and more than 70 outpatient locations, a Tidelands Health facility is always close to home.  

Required Qualifications: 

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Pain Medicine 

  • Eligible for medical license in South Carolina 

  • Completed Residency Anesthesia, PM&R, or Neurology
