Job Description

The Patient Registrar is responsible for providing efficient, accurate, and compassionate registration services to patients presenting to the Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED). The Registrar serves as one of the first points of contact for patients and families and is responsible for obtaining and verifying demographic, insurance, and financial information while maintaining compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, HIPAA, and emergency department procedures.

The Registrar must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and provide exceptional customer service while supporting the clinical team and ensuring timely patient access to care.

Education: High School Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 0-6months
