Job Description

MUSC Health is seeking a board certified or board eligible Adult Psychiatrist to join an established team of virtual providers. Virtual Physicians will provide virtual ambulatory consults from the convenience of their own homes.

About the opportunity:

To expand access to high-quality Psychiatric care for the residents of South Carolina, MUSC Health is adding to their virtual Psychiatric team. The team will be comprised of full-time telehealth physicians, and future APPs. This opportunity is for ambulatory needs across the state of South Carolina.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time Monday-Friday
  • 100% ambulatory/outpatient
  • Full support staff with nurses, patient access reps and CMAs
  • Preference for candidates willing to provide pediatric consultations

Required Qualifications:

  • Be board certified or board eligible in Adult Psychiatry
  • Be licensed, or eligible for licensure in the state of South Carolina
  • Experience with telemedicine is preferred
  • Child Psychiatry a bonus
